The Zion Dining Table is built around a contrast of mass and lightness. A long, thin slab of pale marble, marked with soft grey veining, rests on a single dense black block at the centre. A narrow recessed band between the two creates a shadow line that makes the top appear to hover, and the slab extends well past the base at both ends. With one central support in place of four legs, there are no corner posts to work around, and the open ends of the table remain clear for seating.
