The Willow Rectangular Dining Table is defined by its legs. Instead of four corner posts, it stands on two sculpted pedestals, each a curved, tapering shell with a scooped inner face. They sit well in from the ends of the table, so the ends stay clear and the top appears to float above its base.
The walnut veneer is laid so the grain runs the length of the table across the top and straight up and down the pedestals, which gives the whole piece a continuous, flowing look. A small brass-toned disc on each pedestal is the only metal on the table, adding a subtle accent against the warm brown timber.
